The Issues
In 2020, The Virginia Values Act was signed into law, prohibiting employers and places of public accommodations from discriminating against individuals on the basis of 'gender identity'. “Gender identity”, as defined by the bill, means “gender-related identity, appearance, or other gender-related characteristics of an individual, with or without regard to the individual's designated sex at birth.”
These are some of the main ways in which ‘gender identity’ is harming the women, girls, and children of Virginia, but this list is not exhaustive. ‘Gender identity’ must be eliminated in all its forms:
